will take place from 2 to 7 October in Askö Laboratory, Sweden. Askö Laboratory - a centre of marine research - belongs to Stockholm UniversityBaltic Sea Centre and is situated 80 km south of Stockholm in the archipelago of Trosa.

The participants as members of Baltic TRANSCOAST will develop a good understanding of the ecological and biochemical / microbial processes in coastal systems especially, in very shallow areas. Insight into major species occurring in the Baltic Sea (plants, macrophytes, benthic animals).
