On March 12, 2021 Marvin Lorenz successfully disputed his PhD-thesis. Reviewers and many spectators from several different countries attended the online-defence of the thesis "Influences of surface buoyancy fluxes on circulation and mixing in estuaries". Reviewers recommended to the faculty to award summa cum laude for the excellent work! Dr. Marvin Lorenz is the first Baltic TRANSCOAST - funded PhD-candidate of the 2nd cohort to receive his title.
